|
|
|
One important debate among feminists concerns the degree of radicalism with which they interpret the double agenda of undersssstanding patriarschal structures of power so as to change them. all feminists are angered by the forms of economic, educational, professional and legal inequalities referred to above and by the disappointments, deprivation and suffering that they inflict disproportionately on women. Almost all feminists pragmatically urge the immediate need for more maternity and mowens health care, more nuresery and child-centred provision and legislation to promote equal civic rights in all fields of activity.
