|
|
|
A Raisin in the Sun introduces the life of an African American family trying to break out of a rough 1950's New York lifestyle. Of these hardships, the struggle to fight racial discrimination was one of the most difficult tasks to achieve for the household of five. In order to fight for their cause, the Youngers had to look past their pride to face the problem, come together to make a decision for the family's welfare and lastly to take a stand for their rights.
