Analysis of Open Boat

The story explains the problems and challenges of these 4 men that suffer after the shipwreck. Their strong friendship helps to handle situations and solve problems. They helped each other to produce more strength and to survive. I think that the captain was a good leader, he never gave up, he kept a positive mind and encourage his friends to go on. It was surprising that none of the other men ever get into an argument or fight against the captain, they followed instructions and each one tried to do the best that hey can to get out of the situation. I think that this happened because when people are in dangerous situations, the only thing that have in their minds is the way to survive, and they share this emotion, is what connects them and they know that fighting is not the best way to the success.
