Act V Scene IIICapulet Tomb
Romeo and Balthasar enter the Capulet Tomb. There they see Paris and Page. Paris sends Page back to get Lord Capulet while he finds out what Romeo is doing there. Paris walks toward Romeo with his sword in his hand. He asks Romeo why he is here and Romeo simply answers that he heard about Juliet’s death and he has come to say goodbye to her. Paris tells Romeo that he isn’t supposed to be here, that he has to go back to Mantua, instantly. Romeo then pulls up his sword and tells Paris that he isn’t leaving. With a threat to Romeo, Paris swings at him with his sword.
