Catch 22 short essay
Catch 22 had a very strange view on war. The story concerns a group of WWII bomber crews and support staff stationed on an island off the coast of Italy, on which they make bomb runs. One of the characters, Dunbar has a very curious view on life. He believes that since ‘time flies when you’re having fun’ then the opposite must be true, he tries to stretch his life out as far as possible, so matter how boring it may be.
