Many characters in the literary arts portray themselves, through their actions, as evil or immoral. In the Greek play of tragedy called Antigone, written by Sophocles, I consider king Creon to be one of the most immoral characters in the story. Throughout the play Creon makes decisions based on his ideals alone. He even defies the gods wishes of burial when he states, ?Polynices, who returned from exile, home to his father-city?-a proclamation has forbidden the city to dignify him with burial, mourn him at all.
