... So you can relate a feeling to anyone because someone has had love pains and a loss of someone close to them, or of just plain old guilt. ... I believe the purpose of fiction is having us stop and think about what we are doing with our lives, and where are we going too, and what are are we doing to get ourselves there. ... From my own thoughts about fiction is that you can have an idea, dream, and concept about a subject that may not be true, but you make it relate to what it is that you are trying to display. Fiction is a good way of making your audience reach deep inside themselves and have them respond to words you have written to describe feelings or a situation and to have them open their minds about a subject that they are afraid to look at or even make a positive connection with.
