summary : this man goes to a casino type places and loses the only coin he has he then goes out for a walk and thinks of killing himself. He finds some loose change in his pocket and has little hope but then a poor beggar asks him for it in exchange for bread. He feels this man has more poverty than he and gives him the money. He’s window shopping and finds a young rich woman he stares at her but she doesn’t seem to care and walks back in her carriage and drives off. He then goes in a art gallery to kill time and is guided along the whole thing which has many paintings, sculptures and artifacts, which reminds him of his past. He spent a lot of time there thinking, and he thought the art was coming alive and telling him that he is not ready for death yet.
