Macbeth who is to blame

The tragic tale “The tragedy of MacBeth” by William Shakespeare has gone down in history as being continually relevant to many situations from the past, present and even perhaps the future. It entails the rise and fall of an extremely ambitious noble, namely MacBeth and his bloody rise to monarchy. ... MacBeth is widely believed to not be the only person affecting his overall downfall. Many believe that others, such as the witches and lady MacBeth are to blame.

The prophesies of the witches, who foretold MacBeth’s rise to fortune may have been to blame for Macbeth’s sudden change in character and perspective. The Witches within the play are seen not only, outwardly as cackling, evil fiends, but their strange control over MacBeth causes the worst, or lesser half of him to come forth.
