Night is a very strong word with many different meanings. In the book Night, written by Elie Wiesel, he uses this word to express the way he felt during his childhood. The title of the book represents the setting because during the Holocaust, times were unbearably difficult, and Elie managed to pull through everything. ... Elie Wiesel lived throughout the Holocaust in fear due to his dreadful experiences. Even though it was light outside, the way Elie felt inside made everything seem dark, like night.
