In The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby, Dickens conceives memorable folk, such as the greedy Mr. Ralph Nickleby and his odd clerk, Newman Noggs. ... But the reader does not encounter these characters through the eyes of Nicholas Nickleby, the lad for which the novel is centered around. The reader is introduced to these individuals through the eyes of the most memorable character of them all, Dickens’ sarcastic narrator.
