In the outstanding novel, “The Perks of Being a Wallflower” by Stephen Chbosky we learn all about the life of Charlie (last name is not revealed) from the letters he sends to someone that he hopes will listen. ... Charlie, being the emotional child that he is, is devastated and finds himself becoming an outsider of all his classmates. ... She now gets attention from guys, but instead of being her normal self, she acts like an “airhead” and giggles far too much. ... Sam, being the sincere person that she is, helps Charlie out and tells the student off whom gave him the drugs. Also, while being at the party, Charlie walks in on Patrick and Brad kissing. Patrick hasn’t yet come out openly about him being gay.
