Neil Laminack English 4390 Dr. Kannenberg Response #2 What I have found of interest in this weeks readings are two things; first, the definition of comic art and second, the way in which the image can manipulate the text or vice versa. It is the definition by McCloud of what comic art is along with Abbott’s ideas about how the image and text work to manipulate the reader that brings me to my current understanding.
