At my first Christmas studying aboard in a small school in Long Island, it started snowing when I and my friends were locked out from the dorm. The dorm heads left us standing in the snow after the prom with our fuzzy dresses on. Our scream and banging woke up the whole dorm but nobody came to open the door. We were out because a teacher granted us the permission to stay out late for a night snack after the prom. However, the other girls in the dorm told the dorm heads that we went to a party with boys and they decided to shut the door on us.
