I had several positive and negative reactions to the book A World Lit Only By Fire. The positive reactions that I had to the book was that I thought that it was very entertaining. I finished the book pretty quickly and it was able to keep my attention most of the time. I particularly thought that the insight into the Medieval mind in the first chapter was interesting. I was fascinated by Manchester’s writings on the everyday lives of a common man.
