A MODEST PROPOSAL
A Modest Proposal The process of defecation comes naturally to a human about 1 or 2 times a day. This frequent event is often marked by a period of preceding relaxation of the bowels, and general contentment of the participant. On a parallel note, the relaxation of the bladder, to release urine from the human body is equally if not more refreshing than the bowel movement. It can be said that the removal of wastes from the body is an effective way to keep your body running in optimal condition. However, sometimes this removal of waste is inhibited by our desire for comfort during the defecation and urination processes. It is instinctive of humans to find places to defecate where they feel secure and comfortable – a primitive quality which most likely ensured the safety of earlier humans while they were in the loo. The impediment is clear; one cannot defecate to the satisfaction expected anywhere but at home or a well known place. Public washrooms are the most feared places to defecate; they reek, are unprotected, and full of queer rituals.
