The Foreshore and Seabed Claims New Zealand is going down the drain; all these racial and civil rights problems are making New Zealand look more like South Africa everyday. Our latest example is the foreshore and seabed claims made by Maori to the government, general public criticise there claims without the background knowledge of what’s really going on. I will now expand and dissect the problem. Not all Maori believe the same thing as each other, and even John Tamihere as the associate minister if Maori Affairs thinks that the foreshore and seabed should be crown owned, but an example of the many tribes who claim ownership and perhaps the most recognised is Ngati Tama of the upper South Island.
