Pioneers A pioneer is someone who opens up new areas of thought, research, or development. Some people may think of Martin Luther King Junior whenever they hear the word pioneer, or maybe Betsy Ross. I think of Bill Gates. This man not only opened up a new line of thought but created Microsoft Computers.
