Facing freedom
College: a parent's worst nightmare. It introduces a child to Freedom. Freedom to stay out late, party, and have little or no authority figure. Freedom to make good and bad choices. Freedom to be lazy and irresponsible. This is the way most parents and adults in general stereotype college students. I am not going to say they are right or wrong. Sure, I've stayed out late, been to parties and have been very lazy at times. Yet in the midst of it all, I've learned a few things. Not just about A+B or Freud's theory on life, and no, it's not how I can take 5 shots before getting sick or how to mix a mean margarita.
