Gay Marriage
Marriage is the very foundation of society. Only through traditional marriage can a functional society continue to exist. ... However, these unions cannot nor ever will be able to create and shape the future of a society the way a traditional heterosexual marriage can. It is this procreative power only found within the bonds of a heterosexual marriage, which forms the basis for our government’s and societys compelling interest in traditional marriage rather than relationships founded primarily upon mutually agreeable sexual sensations. ...
Already lawsuits to force this recognition of gay marriages have been filed in Vermont, Massachusetts and New Jersey. If these states recognize this union as a legal marriage then all states, under the “full faith and credit clause” found in the constitution, are required to recognize the legality of same sex marriage whether or not people of the states favor such action.
