The interaction of all disciplines involved creates a fluid and diverse field. The term human relations have very different meaning to different individuals. One focus is on human relations in terms of human resources in a business sense. In this sense, the human relations focus is on creating a more productive and efficient work place. Human resource professionals strive to meet employee wants and needs while keeping the organizational goals in mind. From this perspective, the employees or human resources of the company, are seen as tremendous capital to the company. ... Nearly three-quarters of corporate spending are allocated to “human capital assets. ... Human resource administrators work closely with managers in the company to assess how to use the allocated money in the most budget efficient and employee friendly way.
