Where and how do we acquire out attitudes to Gender roles?
Humans have developed some strange attitudes to gender throughout our evolution. These are starting to become less active in today’s society but they are still here. For instance, in school now, Girls don’t do rugby in P.E, also they don’t do much football, if any, and hardly ever get a chance to play basketball. Instead, they do Hockey, Badminton, athletics, and dance. That has no logic behind it at all as most girls would be able to thrash me in any game of football or rugby. There are genetic differences between males and females for instance, men have better spatial awareness and women are better at multitasking but that doesn’t mean that women have to do cleaning and men have to be doctors or lawyers.
