|
A Synopsis of Common Sense by Thomas Payne In this essay, Pane puts forth his ideas on the current state of American affairs. He gives examples of a form of government, which he thinks would be a good one for America after the war with Great Britain is won. This form of government is very similar to the one we use today. Pane points out the fact that usually a continent rules over an island.
