Bodycote & the Social Environment
As Bodycote is an ever expanding company across the world, not only as a secondary company to the engineering sector, but as a primary server to the community. Not only does Bodycote create an impact on the natural environment, but Bodycote also has a colossal effect on factors within the social environment by which the company operates.
As an expanding company, Bodycote has a positive social impact on employment generation. The increased mass and size of Bodycote as a corporation, and the expansion of the engineering sector as a whole, generates more work for individuals within the surrounding area in which Bodycote operates. As a local company within the Macclesfield area, Bodycote offers a wide variety of employment opportunities to individuals around the locality of the company’s headquarters, such as minor labour work on the factory floor to inexperienced individuals, to fully offered apprenticeships to young individuals from the local schooling community.
