Hammurabi’s Law Code Upon the time of Hammurabi’s Law Code the social heirarchy took predominance over rights of lower class individuals and punishment was strict and to the point. At the base of Hammurabi’s Laws was a system at which the punishment fit the crime, but social class, extremity or the offense, and gender greatly influenced the ruling of the ordeal. Social class proved to be the most crucial detail in concluding who thefalse party was.
