My name is Douglas Bereuter. I was born in Nebraska on October 6th, 1939. While growing up I loved playing sports and hunting. Football was the sport I was most interested in and the Nebraska Cornhuskers were my favorite team. When I came to the conclusion that I wasn’t going to the NFL, I had to decide what I wanted to do. I went to the University of Nebraska where I received my Bachelor of Arts, distinguished military graduate, and political science honorary.
