Extra Credit Three: Discrimination Throughout history, women have been seen as the inferior sex. They have worked with courage to gain the rights they have today. Men feel that women are like delicate flowers that need to be protected. I believe that women deserve the rights that they have, if not more. In my opinion, the government should have programs and accommodations to erase the effects of past discrimination. Women had the position of political powerlessness and their voices were rarely heard. Some women may not do the same hard physical work that men do, but they do take care of the home, have children, take care of the children, and make meals for the family.
