Acts 11 Peter was asked by the Jews why he was seen with the Gentiles. The Jews considered them unholy and were angered by this. Peter explained to them what happened. While he was praying in Joppa, he had a vision. In his vision, he saw reptiles, wild beasts, and birds. Peter also heard a voice that said to him “Get up Peter. Slaughter and eat”. Peter told the spirit that nothing unclean had ever entered his mouth. Then the spirit replied “ Do not call anything impure that God has made clean”.
