Ahisma
Ahimsa is the belief that all living things are to be revered and it is a belief in non-injury to all living things. In addition, it is not just a reference to a person’s actions, but also the belief that one should avoid harming psychologically and intellectually. The belief that all things have a jiva, or soul is at the core of the idea of ahimsa.
