The Australian government has turned to the darkside by denying the validity of the Jedi faith as a true religion.
Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) has stated that for a religion to be recognised it must posses "an underlying belief system or philosophy" and "some form of institutional arrangements or organisational structure". ... After the results from the 2001 census were released, the Australian Bureau of Statistics reported that 70,509 people wrote "Jedi" as a response a question about their faith. ... By baulking at over 70 000 people and their right to choose Jedi as their religion, the Australian government is succumbing to fear, hatred, and embarking down a path of evil.
