Differing Views of Eve in Paradise Lost and Genesis

Paradise Lost and Paradise Regained is a detailed account of the book of Genesis as told by John Milton. Both Genesis and Paradise Lost and Paradise Regained tell the same tale, but in subtly differing ways. In Paradise Lost and Paradise Regained Eve is given a much more submissive role and her flaws are much more apparent than in Genesis “A,” however clear parallels can be seen between Genesis “B” and Paradise Lost and Paradise Regained.
