This story describes how a young boy, David, kills a fearless giant, Goliath. ... The fourth son of Jesse, David, was too young to fight; therefore, he stayed at home and fed his father’s sheep and did chores around the house.
One day, after his brothers had been in battle for about a month, Jesse sent David to check on them and bring them food. While visiting his brothers, the fearful Philistine, Goliath of Gath, entered the Israelites’ campgrounds.
