The Harsh Realities of Hell

Jesus said in Matthew 5:29-30, “ If your right eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. ... It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into hell.” I believe that this passage is a good place to start as we begin our study of hell. It shows the harsh reality that is hell in a very painful analogy. The Lord says that it would be better and less painful, for you to gouge out your own eye or for you to cut off your own hand than to face the pain and suffering that is in hell. However, before we dive into the pain and sufferings of Hell I believe it is important to take a look at its coming into existence. Q1
Hell came into existence at the same time as the rebellion and down fall of the evil angels.
