Halloween
In today’s society, there is too much criticism about many things, and parents have a tendency to scare their own children. Halloween should not be centered on death and dying or evil and darkness. Halloween is a night of fantasy for children and adults. Throughout the years, the discussions surrounding Halloween include; it’s history and origin, whether or not Christians should celebrate Halloween, and the effects on children that are allowed to be involved in the holiday.
In the recent years, celebrating Halloween has become very controversial because cults and Satanists have adopted this festival as “their” festival (holiday), which actually began as a New Year holiday. ... The evening before was called “All Hallows Eve,” which was shortened to Halloween (“History and Meaning” 1).
