Is morality in the eye of the beholder?

Is morality in the eye of the beholder? Firstly, Morality is conforming to moral principles. Ok, So, who makes these moral principles? The politicians, vicars, parents? This essay will explore the controversy that lies behind what is good and what is bad and who controls it. In World War II was it moral for a Nazi to kill a Jew? Yes, because he believed it was right and that eventually a pure race would be formed. Yet, it isn’t moral to kill a few thousand Jews because of their faith. Were the Nazi’s killing Jews because they believed it was moral or because Hitler had told them to? Is the Nazi’s morality in their eyes or in Hitler’s eyes? Just because they were told what to do doesn’t mean it was moral. On September 11th 2001 thousands lost their lives to terrorism. But who is to blame for it Osama Bin Laden, America, George Bush, the airport, or the passengers on the plane. And, at what point did it become immoral.
