The Bible has been the backbone for Christianity since the churches foundation. The Bible has confirmed to science that it is historically true and that the writers did exist. Since the foundation of the Church, the Bible has undergone several construction jobs. Books have been pieced together and have made the New Testament, but that was not always the case. When the church first launched the disciples were still teaching straight from the Holy Spirit. It was not anything new for the Jews since the Old Testament Law was spoken mostly from the mouth. To know the Law was to study and memorize the Law. When the books were completed, it would be several more years before the church would decide what books would be placed in what would be called the Bible. The Bible is an exciting piece of Literature that shows the true meaning of life and how to spread what God has to offer. The Bible is made from three major particulars: Inspiration, canonicity, and reliability. Inspiration at a first glance is a word that brings hope to the Christian Church. Many Christians may not even know what Inspiration is. The truth is that without Inspiration there would be no Bible, nor Christianity. The word Inspiration is basically the words from God that have been written down by the prophets and authors of the New Testament books. Dr. Harry Rimmer says Inspirations is, “the process by which the Spirit of God kept His Word from error of fallacy, and processed it from contradiction of mistake[…]Supervision of the writing by the Holy Ghost” (17). God is the true author of the Bible. He used men and women sometimes to tell people what He wanted done. Since God is the true author, He would have also seen that the writings would have been true. Humans are full of errors and because of that, God made it clear to the writers what He wanted. Second Timothy 3:16 says, “All Scripture is God-breathed, and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.” God wanted his people to know the truth about certain things.
