The ancient Egyptians built an elaborate system of tombs and pyramids to protect the body as well as possible for the return of the soul. They believed that the soul is immortal. Through the philosophy of Socrates I will show that the soul is immortal.
Socrates argued about the immortality of the soul with his friends in the prison. He proved that the soul is immortal. ... So therefore there must be a form of being dead, which we are to assume is the freed soul.
