¡°Where was God on September 11, 2001?¡± Initial Thoughts: A lot of Americans start to doubt about God¡¯s existence after September 11th¡¯s tragedy. Why does God permit evil? Where was God when the World Trade Center and the Pentagon attacked? Why didn¡¯t he bless all those people who had faith on him, how could he let us suffering through all those tragedies? How could a loving God allow it? ¡°God Bless America¡± is one of our nation¡¯s theme songs. After the tragedies, peoples are confused and blur with their identity. Americans are confused with their identity as citizen of God¡¯s Kingdom with as citizens of the Unites States. A friend of mine lost her son on the September 11th. She is a Catholic Christianity. She goes to the church every Sunday and prays to the God every day.
