Sovereignty of God vs Free Will of Man
The issue of mans free will in relation to Gods utmost sovereignty has become a major controversy between Christians. Doctrines such as predestination and mans free will play a major role in the competition between Gods almighty power and mans freedom to choose.
God is the sovereign Lord in control of everyone and everything in the universe. The sovereignty of God is His absolute right to do all things according to his own good pleasure (Revelations 4:11).
