Why Did Jesus Die
When it comes down to it, its not that Jesus did die, its more like he had to die.
When Jesus was in the grave for three days before his Resurrection, his spirit was in hell battling Satan for all sin committed and that will ever be committed. Before Jesus on the cross, people sacrificed spotless lambs and unblemished animals as a sign of repentance, respect and understanding that they were sinners. The animal sacrifices were a sign of acknowledging that one day God would send his only Son, Jesus Christ, to die for us. ... Jesus was willing to die a terrible death for us, because he knew that people would re-pay him by continuing his tradition in having faith in the Lord.
