The use of cloud seeding programs in Texas has reportedly alleviated the droughts, but on the other hand, I don’t think there have been enough studies to determine the possibility of negative effects. Cloud seeding is a process that uses planes to release plumes of microscopic silver iodide into clouds. ... Studies show that this seeding can more than double the amount of rain volume produced by clouds (Bomar 2). Many people don’t understand the process of cloud seeding so they don’t support it.
