So with human cloning, the child could have the genetic strand altered to prevent the rare genetic disease from appearing (Cohen, Cloning) Second, if the parents became infertile they could use human cloning to clone the cells of either the mother or father and have a genetically related child whose DNA was similar to those of the parent.
