Charles Darwin and Sigmund Freud proved to the world that they could easily turn it upside-down by proposing new theories and challenging the Catholic church’s belief structure in the late 1800’s to early 1900’s. Darwin proposed the theory of natural selection and evolution, which completely went against the Bible’s Adam and Eve concept. ...
Freud’s theory however dealt with the subconscious and the development of the human mind. Published in 1912, Freud’s work entitled Five Lectures on Psychoanalysis began to change the outlook on the human mind and how it works.
