Genetic Cloning

... So, what is genetic engineering? Genetic Engineering is the deliberate alteration of an organism’s genes by human intervention – which has proved to be a very controversial subject. ... Some of the issues are that of health problems that may arise as a result of cloning. ... When animal cloning occurs, there are many problems such as cancer, internal bleeding and many other diseases. ... With the onset of more genetic engineering occurring, more and more animals are falling victim to scientific research. ... With these sorts of numbers and the knowledge of the diseases that result from genetic engineering, it is appearing that this sort of science is not good for society.
Now, the most controversial subject of them all – human cloning. ... There are so many questions that need to be answered before human cloning can even take place. Therapeutic cloning uses the cloning procedure to produce a clonal embryo, but instead of being implanted in a womb and brought to term it is used to generate stem cells.
