God’s Magic - Not Man’s Magic
What would the world be like if cloning were legalized? ... Dolly’s entrance into the world on July 5, 1996, marked a remarkable turning point in biological science. ... She also thinks doctors play God everyday, so cloning should be accepted. In an imperfect world we are trying to create the perfect being by allowing man to play the role of God, but its unrealistic, our lives are supposed to be imperfect, and its unnatural. ... This does not mean that this clone is a “normal” human being. A “normal” human being is produced by an egg and a sperm, not an exact duplicate of another person. ... Just think, someone likes the looks of another person’s child, so they clone one exactly like it. Elrod also says, “ a clone will not be exactly the same as the person from which they were cloned…” (Elrod). But how can this be true when they will be an exact copy of the other’s DNA sequence? ...
Everyone knows our world today is not perfect. ... In some aspects it would be nice, but it is just not realistic. ... Cloning would deprive people of their natural and God-given state of uniqueness.
Cloning interferes with God’s role of creating human beings. It is unnatural and goes against God’s natural plan of life.
