Everyday when I wake up and look into the mirror I think of how lucky I am for biology. When I hit puberty, just like every other teenager, I started to get acne. Other kids started to develop it too, so it was not a big deal to me. Soon enough all my friends began to out grow that pimple stage, but for some reason I still had those awful monsters. Kids would stare, boys would be grossed out, and people would ask if I have ever considered getting treatment. We tried over the counter face washes and facemasks to try to at least take away some of the redness.
