Prediction: I think that the result will be either PbBr2 or PbBr4, this is because lead usually has a valency of +2 or +4.

• Conical flask 100 cm cubed
• Retort Stand
• Boss
• Clamps
• Tripod
• Bunsen burner
• Top pan balance (digital)
• Gauze
• Stirring rod
• Lead bromide powder, approx 1g
• Distilled water 90cm3
• Aluminium approx 0. ... Add a measure of the lead bromide powder (provided, approx. ... Use the stirring rod to press the precipitated lead together.
