The Period of a Pendulum
Introduction:
The pendulum itself consists of a weight attached to the end of a long rod that can swing back and forth. For any pendulum, the time it takes to swing back and forth is constant as long as the pendulum is swinging. This time is called the period of the pendulum and is measured in units of time/swing.
