Personal Characteristics Do I qualify for the health care profession in the surgical field? Now that’s the question that all employees or future employees should ask themselves. Well what does a health care worker qualities need to be? All health care workers no matter what field they do go into should always have the characteristics and attitude of a professional health care worker. A health care worker must be willing to learn, patience, dependable, competence, and responsible. Also a health care worker must have a good appearance, attitude, and behavior. All these qualities would be applied into the profession when caring for patients and dealing with the public. Being a surgeon requires a lot of dependability and responsibility. Surgeons are dealt with a lot of situations and tasks.
