Social Inequalities Gearron Griffin A.I.U. First, it’s no secret the United States is a “melting pot” of many different nationalities, ethnic, and religious groups. And, although it is natural for common interests; (appearances, beliefs, economic standings, etc…) to congregate, this global economy of accelerate change forces “congealing” amongst the populace. This may transpire through school, extra curricular activities, or employment. Eventually, customs and beliefs that are normally unfamiliar to a person, or set of people, will peak some curiosity. This curiosity oftentimes leads towards movement. The result of this movement normally results in mingling, or getting to know one another.
